Samantha stared up at the sky, adoring it's beauty. Not realizing Gene was staring at her.
"It's gorgeous, isn't it? You know, I know I have powers and what not but, If I didn't know the moon was an actual planet. I'd swear it was real magic." Her Black eyes sparkled with the reflection of the millions of stars in the sky.

Gene nodded as he looked back up at it."When I was little I always dreamed of going to the moon." he said as he remembeer his childhood dream of being an astronaut.

Samantha giggled. "You were probably a cute kid." Sha said. She looked down from the sky, now staring into Genes eyes.

Samantha went red aswell. She turned her head slightly, so as not to face him. She couldn't help but smile at the ground.

Gene turned his eyes back towards the stars. He rested his head against the tree as he looked down toward the forest.

Not knowing what to say next Samantha quickly searched her mind. "Can you play me something?" Was the only thing she could come up with.

Gene nodded as he grabbed his guitar and pulled it into his lap. He thought of something to play and nodded to himself as he began to to play the lullaby his mother had taught him. He closed his eyes as the melodious sound filled the forest.

Samantha listened to the beautiful, yet unfamiliar, song. It filled her up with happiness as it echoed through the trees.

The tips of hundreds of leaves caught on fire. They looked like glowing stars that you could almost reach up and touch. Gene smiled as he continued to play.
