Samantha's heart spopped for a moment. She felt butterflies eating her from the inside out.
"Really...?" Her eyes glowed with happiness.

Gene looked over at Samantha and nodded his face still red. He looked over her and he began to smile as he saw her eys almost gleem with happiness.

Gene smiled."I thought you wouldn't like me. I kinda lost hope after you laughed but I had to atleast try and tell that I liked you."

Samantha laughed. "I was so mad at myself when I laughed. I didn't mean to, I was just shocked that you liked me too." Samantha smiled.
"....So...What do we do now?" She laughed.

"Honestly I don't really know this is probably as far as I've ever gotten in a relationship." he said as he thought about his attempts at past relationships. All of those ended miserabley.

Samantha giggled. "Well I hope this is different." She said.
Suddenly somthing was different. It was silent.
"The rain stopped. It's really late I think We should go back. Wow we've been out here a while. We're going to be in so much trouble if they see us." Samantha said.

Gene nodded as he walked towards the entrance of the cave and moved the vines out of the way. He looked towards Samantha and smiled. It was hard to believe that he actualy told her.

Samantha got up and put her book away, and grabbed her bag with her notebook in it. Then walked towards the entrance. She walked under the vines. It was dark in the forest and kind of scary. Samantha shivered. It was cold. She had never been this far out in the forest this late at night.

Gene watched as Samantha walked out and then followed after her. He watched as she shivered and he quickly ran ahead. He picked up his guiar and played a few notes and hundred of leaves began to glow and burn softly. He placed his guitar back on his back as he walked back towards Samantha.
