Felicity heaved heavily. She glanced up and down the crowded hall, trying to spot her students. She knew she'd need to be in her classroom soon. She unlocked her classroom door and stepped into the cold darkness, flipping on the switch and glaring at the clock, it was time for the Instrumental class and she wasn't sure how many students she'd have. She approached her podium and flipped through various pieced of music, looking for one that she'd want to use.

Daryn walked into the room with a cup of coffee and a bottle of water in his hands, he immediately walked over to the piano and sat down on the bench.

(ok I will) Riley took her flute out of it's case. She looked over at the door and saw Daryn walk in. "Hi!" she said.

Felicity stood up by a dry erase board at the front of the room. It had the staff drawn across it in bold black permanent marker, "Hey guys! I'm your teacher, Felicity Adams." She grinned brightly, "Please call me Felicity, as you may have noticed, I'm not too much older then you guys. I just recently graduated from Hathor myself." She nodded and then turned to her podium on her right, "I have chosen some music for you to play. I'll be grading you on how well you can sight read the music and also on a few other things that I'll keep a secret." She put a finger to her lips as though to say 'shh'. She picked up the music and passed it out, it was a rather difficult piece she had written herself in her music theory class as a senior and she wanted to see how the students handled it.

"I'm Riley," she said to Daryn. Then, she turned her attention to the teacher. She looked at the paper just given to her, it looked pretty hard but, Riley was confident she could do it halfway decently.

Felicity walk back to the front of the room and picked up the baton.
"We are going to run through it, no stops, and then I will decide on trouble spots. If we hurry through this but still get a lot of work done, I may lighten the work load I have planned for you." She hinted, tapping her baton against the podium as though she were a metronome*.
"Get this beat in your head, 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4." She was counting out loud, "Count with me." She said. Letting this join in.

Riley was still looking at the piece when Felicity started talking. She was now determined to get it right. Riley counted along with her.
